Well it’s Wednesday, middle of the week, and I’m looking forward to a busy weekend with family and friends. The sun is shining, I spent all yesterday in the garden and today is national fish and chip day here (chips for lunch is my plan) so life is good; as long as I don’t think any further into the future than Monday 😉
I was trying to find something more metaphorical than literal, although I suppose a twisting path works on both levels, being a metaphor for life’s journey as well as being obviously twisty
Twisting path, another angle
I finished college last thursday and have to wait maybe two weeks to hear if I can get my old job back after my career break. Without any structure the days seem to drift past aimlessly. I don’t feel like getting stuck into anything and I am simply waiting to see what will happen next. Feeling a bit lost and lonely at the moment.
Burgers made of black pudding in a mini bun, with a bit of cheese, scallions, cherry tomatoes, crispy rasher and homemade relish. Mmmm mouthwatering!

They say life begins at 40 and I do believe in this, however I was not intending to take it quite so literally. In January I turned 37 and a half and found myself free and single (although not so young!) for the first time in 15 years. Tomorrow I sit the last exam of my 3 year degree and so I am ready to start over, jumping in with both feet, or maybe being slightly pushed ;).
